an interactive resource presenting a selection of CMHC's data on housing conditions and core housing need for 2011, 2006, 2001, 1996 and 1991.
An easy-to-use electronic database, Housing in Canada Online (HiCO) enables you to create custom tables to examine housing conditions in your area by Aboriginal household status, household type, tenure and age group, including whether or not households live in dwellings that meet CMHC’s housing standards. For households living in dwellings below standards, HiCO identifies whether they are in core housing need.
HiCO provides data for Canada, and the provinces and territories, and includes data for all Census Divisions, Census Metropolitan Areas and Census Agglomerations.
